HIPAA Notice

AdVenue Health does not collect, store, or transmit Protected Health Information (PHI). Our displays show general educational content only — never patient-specific data. This platform is not a covered entity under HIPAA but follows HIPAA-aligned best practices for data handling in clinical environments.

Information We Collect

Device Telemetry: Screen heartbeat signals, CPU temperature, storage capacity, and uptime metrics from connected displays. This data contains no patient information.

Account Information: Clinic name, contact email, phone number, address, and optionally your NPI number for verification purposes.

Ad Impression Logs: Anonymized records of which ads were displayed, when, and on which screen. These logs contain no patient identifiers.

Google Places Data: When you register a clinic, we use the Google Places API to retrieve your address, photos, and business details.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to deliver and optimize educational content on your screens, track ad impressions for transparent revenue sharing, monitor screen health and uptime, and improve content relevance by medical specialty — never by individual patient.

Data Security

All data is encrypted with AES-256 at rest and TLS 1.3 in transit. Our proof-of-play logging is SOC2-compliant. No Protected Health Information is stored at any layer of the platform. Screen telemetry is transmitted over encrypted WebSocket connections.

Doctor-in-the-Loop Consent

All AI-generated educational content requires explicit approval from a physician or practice manager before it appears on any screen. No content airs without your review and consent. You maintain full editorial control at all times.

Third-Party Data Sharing

Our Supply-Side Platform (SSP) partners receive only anonymized, venue-level data for ad targeting — no patient data is ever shared. Revenue share calculations are based on aggregate impression counts. Google Places API is used solely for clinic registration and mapping.

Data Retention

Ad event logs are retained for 90 days for billing and compliance reporting. Account data is retained while your account is active. Screen telemetry data is purged after 30 days. You may request data export or deletion at any time.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your account data. You can opt out of any ad category at any time. You can veto specific advertisements from appearing in your clinic. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@advenue.tv.
